Manly is a sea of white at the White Ribbon Walk

The sun shone for the White Ribbon walk along Manly Beach this morning with a crowd turning up bright and early, forming a sea of white! Violence against women is recognised as a widespread issue and the huge support shown by locals on this morning’s walk is a positive step towards raising awareness and working towards a solution for this problem.

It was wonderful to see boys from local high schools such as St Paul’s Catholic College, Manly and Balgowlah Boys Campus joining other supporters such as Manly Police Station, James Griffin MP, Member for Manly, The Sisterhood, Manly Women’s Shelter and many more.

Fabulous to see quite a few CNB Friends and Volunteers along the way too! Here at CNB we strongly believe that everyone of us has the right to be safe and live free of violence, power or control.
