It was a lovely Summer’s Day at Manly Beach yesterday where the Northern Beaches community came together to help “Make Our Sea Plastic Free” at the Northern Beaches Council Ocean Care Day. Community Northern Beaches Staff and Volunteers had a wonderful day engaging with locals and sharing the fun with kids at our activity table at the CNB Booth!
There were plenty of activities that took place with over 45 musicians, eco-exhibitors, artists and guest speakers including Andy Marks, Impact Producer of ABC’s War On Waste. As the exponential amount of plastic now poses an unprecedented threat on ocean wildlife and habitats, it was great to see so many people and ocean lovers raising awareness and spreading positive change.
