LocalKind uses a donor’s information to process donations, communicate with donors about our charitable objectives and keep donors up to date with our events and opportunities to help support our mission and purpose.

The Northern Beaches can be a community to be proud of; however, many of our neighbours are facing financial hardship, homelessness, domestic violence, or other crises.
LocalKind is an organisation that harnesses the kindness of the community to look after our neighbours in need.
This Aid & Donation Drive in partnership with MOOSH is giving caring families 2 ways to help:
1. Bring in non-perishable food or hygiene products (see list above) to the bins at MOOSH, and let’s fill the bins with our kindness. If the list is too long, some items that are always needed are: cans of tuna, baked beans, or spaghetti; cup/instant noodles, long-life milk, and razors.
2. Donate. At the core of our service are trauma-informed, professional support workers who can really make a difference in lives of people in crisis. Your donation to this MOOSH page (see donation form on left) supports meaningful outcomes for our neighbours in crisis.

From Manly to Palm Beach and Terrey Hills to Seaforth, homelessness looks like:
- 33-year-old Ruby experienced domestic violence and was living in a tent,
- 56-year-old Adam has chronic depression and was living in his car at the beach,
- 19-year-old Kendall slept outside in the open due to severe mental health issues,
- 43-year-old Jake was couch surfing, stricken with grief at the loss of his mother.
All donations to LocalKind Northern Beaches (legal entity Community Northern Beaches) over $2 are tax deductible. A receipt will be sent to you upon completion.
